Sunday, 16th April
On Sunday the 16th April we started our journey. We first went to Zagreb airport in our school van. Then we went on our plane to Rome. We landed in Rome late in the night. From there the italian school van drove us to Sora. We finally got to meet our families. The families drove us all home to where we’d live for the week.
Monday, 17th April
On Monday we first went to the school where we were greeted by younger children. They performed a traditional Sora dance. After that we went from class to class and looked at how the classes work. After lunch we introducted ourselves to Turkish and Spanish kids, and then we talked with them. We also had some art workshops. We got home later in the afternoon and spent some time with the family and got accomodated into the houses.
Tuesday, 18th April
On Tuesday we went to Rome where we explored the history and art of Rome.
We first went to the Colloseum and then we walked more into the center of Rome. We viewed one of the biggest fountains and went to some famous Italian stairs. There we had some free time to roam around the center. After the free time we went to a museum of famous sculptures. That day we returned home late at night once again.
Wednesday, 19th April
On Wednesday we stayed in Sora where we had some workshops (art, music) the time to talk with other kids. After lunch we went to the biggest waterfall in Sora. We also went inside a manor that has existed in Sora for hundreds of years. Later we went to a monastery where we were walked around and viewed the beauty of it. We got home fairly early that day.
Thursday, 20th April
On Thursday we went to Naples where we walked around the city viewing the beautifuly culture and an old castle.
Friday, 21nd April
All good things come to an end and so it was time to say goodbye. After saying goodbye to our new friends, their families, the school and Sora, we headed to the airport and arrived in Zagreb in the evening, where our flight to Rogatec was waiting for us.
