Our main goal is to learn and to use the disciplines of art, animal-assisted interventions and soil and nature therapy in inclusive education through the sharing of good practices. We would like to place therapy approaches in the curriculum in these areas, thereby developing professional knowledge, skills and innovative educational practices.

Our objectives:

-to invert the differences among students into richness, create more fused classes;

-to give invlusive and equal quality education to students and encourage them for lifelong education opportunities;

-to strenghten the capacity of institutions in order to increase the quality of learning and teaching;

-to develop innovative inclusive education practices in European level, share the best practices among partners and generalize the results among other colleagues in national and international level;

-to help all students reach their highest potential by giving high quality teaching, to create a creative learning environment.

Results:

-Students will develop positive relations with their teachers and peers and so the possibilities of students’ absenteeism, leaving school, dislike of school and lack of belonging to school will be low, but their motivation will be high.

-Teachers will understand that it is essential not to confine inclusive understanding into the class and it is important to generalize it through all school.

-We will develop a teacher training programme/lesson plans that are based on inclusive education with interdisciplinary approaches. Thus; students’ existing equipment, skills and tendencies will come out. An inclusive curriculum allows adapting the curriculum to the learning styles of children with special education needs.

-At the end of the project, each student will make progress in at least one field.This will put forth the role of including teaching programmes, that will be designed with an interdisciplinary approach, into the educationprocess of the students who have differences.

-We will prepare a public spotlight that shows different students in class atmosphere and in which the constitutional rights of the students who need special education are told about.

-Our project website and Twin Space where the project outputs, results, sample practices and experiences take place will be open for our colleagues in European level.

-E-book in 4 languages about “inclusive class environments and school climate” that we will prepare with partnership experiences will be an important source in local and international level.

Reasons to choose these priorities:

Including all children who have difficulty in reaching education on equal terms make them take place in school life literally, reveal their abilities and support their right to get education with their peers. Inclusive school and class practices will encourage disadvantaged students to develop a positive attitude and motivation about school, to experience being learner lifelong and their learning mobility.Thus; decrease in leaving school will contribute to sustainable smart growth.Teachers’

capacity will grow stronger by exchanging knowledge and good practices among European colleagues, their professional skills will improve by encouraging interdisciplinary innovative practices, and also teachers will gain professional experience in European level.
